The Mains of Monaltrie is a modernized 18th-century farmhouse
sleeping up to six persons in two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Baby cot available on request.
Rental weeks run from 1800 hrs Saturday to 1100 hrs Saturday –
4 night short stays are possible 'depending'.
Mid week, 4 night bookings (Mon to Fri) may be possible at short notice depending on availability.
We can give a discount for fortnightly or longer stays.
April to mid May: from £500 per week.
**Easter week is quoted separately on application.
Mid May to end June: from £525 per week.
July and August: £560 per week.
**Braemar Highland Games: 1st Saturday weekend in September encompassing either a 9 or 10 night long break or a 4 night Long Weekend are £650 to £700 or £400, respectively.
September: £525 per week.
October: £500 per week.
Electricity is charged by meter reading and payable at the end your stay. Aga fuel is included along with an initial supply of firewood.
Full bed linens & towels are provided. An old fashioned, wooden cot bed is available by prior arrangement but not the baby linens.
Basic 'first day' groceries may be provided on prior arrangement at a tariff of cost plus 15% to cover delivery. We need at least 3 days notice and receipts will be provided.
No smoking anywhere indoors; the garage may be used for this purpose in wet weather.
Well behaved, clean, fully supervised dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Registered mobility animals are always welcome.
Daily Housekeeping and fresh, organic, free-range eggs may be available by prior arrangement. The housekeeper and other local contacts live close by so any service emergencies can be swiftly dealt with.
